As a seasoned Commercial Investigator, I have had - quite literally, many dozens of "jobs". The jobs have often been different - within factories, shops, shipyards, concert halls, theatres, sports stadia, hotels and offices - but both the scenario and the brief have always been pretty much the same:
To integrate into the client's workforce in the most seamless possible manner;
Upon successful integration, to do not only the job I was (ostensibly) being paid for, but - at the same time (and most importantly!) - to harness and record evidence of the issues concerned (most commonly, internal theft and fraud).
